Coming off opening weekend of the 2014 RISER Tour, Dierks Bentley is taking fans on a wild ride in the new music video for "Drunk On A Plane." In collaboration with Will Ferrel and Adam McKay's Funny or Die, the comedy website debuted the mile-high video this morning making it the first time a country music video has appeared on the popular site.
Directed by Wes Edwards and filmed at Air Hollywood in Los Angeles last month, Bentley enlisted a quirky cast of characters that included comedians, actors, band members and friends to help nail his vision.
"We added some of this footage to the screens for tour, and I have a hard time not turning my back to the crowd to watch it myself…so many hilarious moments," said Bentley. "There are a few subplots working underneath the main story that totally crack me up…if you watch it a couple times, you start to pick up on more funny details. Wes did an incredible job…again!"

Multi-Platinum singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley and OLE SMOKY® TENNESSEE MOONSHINE® announced today that they will join forces in a multi-year partnership across tour, media and digital platforms. First up, for Bentley’s RISER TOUR, which kicks off tonight in Charlotte, NC, the moonshine maker will provide a tailgate party for fans in a throwback 1920's style saloon with a modern country vibe featuring signature OLE SMOKY® drinks, music and specialty merchandise at participating venues.
"When I first moved to Nashville, I lived down at the Station Inn and really dove head first into the bluegrass community…I used to beg my way into pickin parties with those guys because I was eaten up with that sound and that lifestyle. And when you surround yourself with banjos and fiddles, there's bound to be some shine there too," said Bentley. "All of that influenced who I am and the music I make today. Ole Smoky is a great partner for me and my fans out on the RISER tour this year…they're going to help us get the party started early out in the parking lot and set the tone for a rowdy night.”
“We are thrilled to be launching our partnership with Dierks Bentley as he starts the RISER tour,” said Joe Baker, founder of Ole Smoky Moonshine. “Just like Ole Smoky, the tour is about bringing people together who love country music and having fun. We can’t wait to see the fans dancing, laughing and sharing their stories over our moonshine.”

Multi-Platinum artist Dierks Bentley has earned his first No. one hit off his seventh studio album RISER, as “I Hold On” tops both the Billboard Country Airplay and Mediabase radio charts this week.
“I was just sitting in my truck looking over at the passenger seat where my dad sat almost 20 years ago when we drove from Phoenix to Nashville at the beginning of this honky tonk dream. He would love that a song inspired from that road trip made it to the top of the country charts,” said Bentley. "I've said from the beginning, if you want to know who I am in three minutes and thirty seconds, play this song. The fact that country radio and the fans got on board for this one, and that I'm getting such great feedback to the entire album is so overwhelming. There are a lot of songs on this album I want to get to as singles, and there is no better way to do that than to start off with a big hit. I am really grateful that country radio continues to like what I'm doing and supports me and my music."
The “sterling anthem that serves as the album’s centerpiece” (American Songwriter) becomes the 11th song to reach the summit for Bentley as both an artist and songwriter and served as the introductory track to his seventh studio album RISER, which continues to earn praise from critics.
“He sounds gritty and time-tested…the catchiest choruses country has heard in a while. Even after seven albums, Bentley finds new ground on Riser, and it’s fertile.” - Billboard

It’s so great to see so many fans in other countries and always cool to see them singing along with my songs, even if it hasn’t been a single.”

Music Row Magazine said, "This guy is arguably our finest young Country vocalist. This powerful love song gives him plenty of room to emote. I remain an enormous fan.
