When Jerrod Niemann moved to Nashville from Fort Worth, Texas in 2000, his sights were not only set on causing mayhem on Music Row with his wildly creative songwriting, unique vocal prowess, and on-stage antics, but also on the realization of a childhood dream: to headline the renown Ryman Auditorium. Although he has played its hallowed stage on occasion, he will soon have his name appear on the ticket as the marquee act on Friday, September 12. Tickets went on sale today, June 13 at 10:00 a.m. on Ryman.com.
“To say I am excited to headline at the Ryman is an understatement,” Niemann shares. “I remember when I first moved to town, my buddies and I would hang out in the honky tonks off Lower Broadway and the Mother Church of Country Music would always smile down at us from her perch. It's a rite of passage for all musicians to grace her stage as the main act, and I am very much looking forward to having that honor."
The Sea Gayle Records/Artista Nashville artist found huge success this year with his RIAA Gold-certified multi-week number one hit “Drink to That All Night” from his third major label release 'High Noon'. He recently released a remix of the song featuring international superstar Pitbull. Niemann's new single, "Donkey," was just released to country radio and is currently climbing the charts.
Niemann co-wrote eight of the 13 tracks on High Noon, the 2014 follow-up to his acclaimed, musically adventurous 2012 release, 'Free The Music'. Niemann’s chart-topping critically acclaimed major-label debut, 2010’s 'Judge Jerrod & The Hung Jury', produced the No. 1 smash and RIAA-certified Platinum digital single, “Lover, Lover,” and the Top 5 and RIAA-certified Gold digital single, “What Do You Want.”
Niemann is currently performing headlining dates across the country and will join Keith Urban as direct support this summer on the Raise ‘Em Up Tour.

Sea Gayle Records/Arista Nashville hitmaker Jerrod Niemann has unveiled his new nonprofit charity, Free The Music USA (FTMUSA), dedicated to collecting used instruments and giving them to children in need. Born out of his deeply rooted belief that every child deserves the opportunity to explore music within themselves, Niemann set out to help place instruments in the hands of children who could not otherwise afford them. FTMUSA will also make spontaneous and varied donations to music based charities throughout the year.
FTMUSA is partnering with Songs for Sound, a Nashville-based charity dedicated to assisting the profoundly deaf through awareness and providing resources for cochlear implants and rehabilitation. Songs for Sound and FTMUSA have partnered with the Academy of Country Music to give three recent recipients of cochlear implants a trip to the 2014 ACM Awards in Las Vegas to meet Niemann and hear him perform at the 2nd Annual ACM Party for a Cause® Festival on April 5 at The LINQ.
Newly appointed FTMUSA board member Shannon Shryne shares, “Jerrod's passion for helping people is just as strong as his passion for creating great music. Free the Music USA will harness that philanthropic energy and truly make a difference in so many ways. The possibilities are extraordinary and we’re excited to get started!"
After becoming a stock contractor with Back Seat Buckers, the official bull ownership program of PBR (Professional Bull Riders) and ABBI (American Bucking Bull Inc.) in January, Niemann selected his bull earlier this month on March 1, at AT&T Stadium. He has named his Back Seat Buckers bull “High Noon” after his new album, released last week on March 25, and will be donating any money his bull wins to FTMUSA. The winning Back Seat Buckers bull will earn over $100,000 in 2014.
In celebration of the album’s release last week, Niemann performed High Noon’s Top-5-and-climbing debut single, "Drink To That All Night" on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live and on NBC’s Today show. High Noon marks the follow-up to Niemann’s acclaimed, musically adventurous 2012 release, Free the Music. Niemann’s chart-topping major-label debut, 2010’s Judge Jerrod & The Hung Jury, produced the #1 smash and RIAA-certified Platinum digital single, “Lover, Lover,” and the Top 5 and RIAA-certified Gold digital single, “What Do You Want.”

After selling more than a half-million tracks from his debut effort, Bigger Picture artist Craig Campbell has revealed on his Facebook page the street date and cover artwork for his highly anticipated sophomore album, NEVER REGRET. The twelve-song project, which features the evocative lead single “Outta My Head,” will join the ranks of country music hit-makers Lady Antebellum and Pistol Annies to release on May 7, 2013. On this second record, Campbell continues to work with Grammy Award winning producer Keith Stegall (Alan Jackson, Zac Brown Band) and CCMA Album of The Year producer, Matt Rovey.
Shortly after the release of his sophomore record and in honor of his late father, Craig will host the inaugural Celebrity Cornhole Challenge to benefit the TJ Martell Foundation’s colon cancer research efforts. The announcement of June’s event comes at a timely moment as National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month is coming to a close. “This tournament will benefit colon cancer awareness and research, which I am very passionate about,” states Campbell. With a smile in his eyes, he continues, “my father passed away at the age of 36 from the disease, and what better event to benefit colon cancer care than a ‘Cornhole’ tournament.” Just last week, Craig joined Alan Jackson to perform at the Stars Go Blue concert in Nashville to benefit the Colon Cancer Alliance.
The Craig Campbell Cornhole Challenge will take place on June 4th from 2pm-7pm at the Public Square in Downtown Nashville as the unofficial kickoff to 2013’s CMA Music Festival week. Craig will be joined by fellow country artists and celebrity friends including Chase Rice, THE FARM, Gloriana, Greg Bates, Jerrod Niemann, LoCash Cowboys, Love and Theft, Rachel Bradshaw, Australian duo Baylou, GAC’s Suzanne Alexander, Titans Kicker Rob Bironas, and more to be announced. In addition to playing cornhole with Craig and his celebrity friends, participants and attendees will be entertained by live music and great local food and drinks. Tickets for the event can be purchased here.

For the fifth year in a row, country music will come together on the scenic beaches of Key West, Fla. to benefit the music industry’s largest foundation that funds leukemia, cancer and AIDS research: the T.J. Martell Foundation. Long-time friends and songwriting buddies Lee Brice, Randy Houser and Jerrod Niemann will triple headline the final night of Country On The Beach, as super duo Montgomery Gentry hosts and GAC’s Headline Country’s Storme Warren emcees. Country music fans are invited to attend and get an up-close-and-personal experience with their favorite country stars as they let loose in one of Florida’s most popular vacation spots. The benefit is scheduled for October 5-8, 2013 at the Reach Resort.
"We call the growing gang of fans who attend our annual tropical reunions ‘the world's largest dysfunctional family,'” Warren states lightheartedly. “Now that we're adding Lee, Randy and Jerrod in to the mix, that family just got a whole lot more dysfunctional. The hits will be flying from the stage. I can't wait!”
Tickets are available here and proceeds from the weekend’s auctions and special excursions will benefit the foundation. Meet-and-greets with the artists will be available, and fans can expect a laid-back environment where a few ‘surprise’ off-the-cuff acoustic performances are never out of the ordinary.
To-date, the T.J. Martell Foundation has raised more than $250 million for research with the help of hundreds of volunteers and music industry professionals, which has been successfully leveraged into several billion dollars in order to support innovative medical research focused on finding cures and supporting early-stage research projects aimed at developing effective treatment.
