Built like a linebacker, 6’5” tall country star James Otto will be playing for the Tennessee Titans this year – musically, that is. Friday, Sept. 7 at 6 p.m. CDT in downtown Nashville he will perform radio hits “Just Got Started Loving You,” “Groovy Little Summer Song,” along with new, never-before-heard songs at the Code Blue Season Kick-Off Pep Rally in partnership with The Tennessean.
The Code Blue Season Kick-Off Pep Rally will also include appearances by Titans players, cheerleaders, Jim Wyatt (The Tennessean’s Titans beat reporter), Mayor Karl Dean, Mike Keith (the voice of the Titans), Station Camp High School's "Thundering Heard" Marching Band, music artist Stephen Salyers and T-Rac (Titans mascot). Prizes will also be given away.
Admission is free of charge, and the event is open to the public. Food and beverages can be purchased and children can enjoy activities in the designated kids' area. The event begins at 4 p.m. with Otto taking the stage at 6 p.m.
Walk of Fame Park is bordered by the Country Music Hall of Fame, Bridgestone Arena, Hilton and Schermerhorn Symphony Center in downtown Nashville.
